The UFC Fight Night tournament will take place in Riyadh at the Kingdom Arena!
As part of this tournament, we will see a fight between former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev, who previously represented Sweden and now competes for the UAE. Chimaev's last fight took place on October 21, 2023 at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE), where he defeated the Nigerian fighter Kamar Usman by majority decision . This victory was already his 13th in mixed martial arts, and he still does not know defeat.
Israel Adesanya last competed in September 2023 at UFC 293, where he fought with American fighter Sean Strickland. The fighters went the entire distance, and by unanimous decision of the judges, Strickland was declared the winner. For Adesanya, this was the third defeat in his career, with 24 victories.
