On June 21, 2025, in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, at the Baku Crystal Hall arena, the UFC Fight Night 260 tournament will be held
Baku Crystal Hall, known for its impressive design and capacity, will be the perfect venue for such a major event. Organizers are hard at work putting together a lineup that will feature both up-and-coming fighters and seasoned UFC veterans across a variety of weight classes. The main event of the evening will be a light heavyweight clash between Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. The intrigue will be whether Rountree can knock Hill out early on or whether Hill will emerge victorious with his technique and endurance. Jamal Hill, known as “Sweet Dreams,” won the UFC title in 2023 but later relinquished it due to an Achilles tendon injury. He is a fan of legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather and trained at his gym.
Khalil Rountree, nicknamed "War Horse" for his aggressive fighting style and powerful punches, has an interesting biography. Born in Los Angeles to a music producer, he faced problems with excess weight in his youth. However, sports helped him change his life: Rountree began practicing martial arts and achieved significant success, including participation in the show "The Ultimate Fighter", after which he got into the UFC. His career has been both victories and defeats, but he managed to win five victories in a row by decision.
In addition to the main fights of the evening, spectators can expect a series of preliminary fights, where young fighters will be able to demonstrate their abilities and declare themselves. One of these fights will be a meeting between Chechen fighter Ismail Naurdiev and South Korean Yun Yong Park Kyoji. Naurdiev is known for his aggressive attacking technique and often finishes fights early, while Pac prefers a more strategic approach with an emphasis on wrestling and grappling.
The outcome of the Naurdiev vs. Pac clash is of great interest to MMA fans. If Naurdiev can use his striking power on the feet, he will have a better chance of winning. However, if Pac takes the fight to the ground and uses his wrestling skills, he can win via submission.
